There was the episode in the BBC production of "I, Claudius" in which Augustus-by-title (Octavian- by-name) is interviewing several men known to have indulged in hanky-panky with his daughter, using the euphemism "slept with". One unfortunate replies "Not slept, Caesar." This exemplifies the delicious script-writing in the entire series.
